The different subjects that have been included in the TBSE Class 10 syllabus include English Literature Reader (First Flight), English Supplementary Reader (Footprints without Feet), Social Science (History, Geography, Economics, or Political Science), Science (Chemistry, Physics, Biology), Hindi, Mizo, Kokborok, Bengali etc.
In recent years, it has been observed that every year close to 40,000 students appears in the HSLC examinations or Madhyamik examinations conducted by TBSE in two mediums i.e, English and Bengali and a success rate of between 70% to 80% are observed.
