About SEBA class 10
Close to 3.5 lakh students appear every year in the class 10 examination also known as the HSLC examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA). Like SEBA class 9, the examination is conducted in different languages like English, Assamese etc and it is usually held in the month of February or March.
The SEBA class 10 syllabus has been categorised by the board as First Language (Assamese, Bengali, Hindi, Bodo, Manipuri, Khasi, Garo, Hmar, Mizo, Urdu, Nepali), Second Language (English, English – IL), Core Subjects (General Science, General Mathematics, History, Geography, Political Science, Economics), and Elective subjects (Assamese, Bengali, Bodo, Manipuri, Nepali, Hindi, Adv. Details of SEBA HSLC results: 2021
Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, SEBA cancelled board exams in Assam in 2021. However, SEBA held a special exam for students who were dissatisfied with the results, which were based on the internal evaluation. According to reports, 22,836 students applied for the special exam. However, only 19,305 students showed up to take the offline exam.
The overall pass percentage was 93.10 per cent. There were 88,521 students in the first division, 1,60,298 in the second division, and 1,48,313 in the third division. A total of 3,97,132 students were declared successful. A total of 4,26,553 students were eligible for the exams.
